I've got one or several trojans working on my laptop, making it freeze or shut down on it's own. Plus, I've got the Windows Security Center popping up - in english, which in itself is wrong, since my laptop is naturally set up in german -, telling me that I have several worms and no active guard (my antivirus system all the while running happily and up-to-date in the task bar, mind you), DEMANDING that I upload my protection ASAP, and that on a very regular base (like... constantly?). It tried to download something, but I canceled the process immediately, and pulled the cable connecting my laptop to the internet.

Today, an expert came and fetched my laptop to fix it, but sadly, all my software (most importantly Photoshop), will be lost and has to be installed again. I got PS from my sister and only hope that she still has the CD.

I saved my data (like university stuff and pictures, including my own) a few days ago, so at least THAT is save. The expert even offered to do another copy for me of all my stuff - of course I agreed.

So, if your Security Center pops up and demands a download, you have a problem. It gets more obvious once your PC starts freezing and shutting down on its own.

I'm kinda helpless right now without my laptop, no internet, no notes of commissions and stuff, no university stuff, no music, no projects, NOTHING :'D. I'm at my parents' place right now. Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow I'll know how bad it is and how much could be saved by the expert.

'Okay, what's so special about it?' some of you might think now x'D. Maybe you have one as a pet or just had that luck sooner than I, or maybe you don't care about snakes at all, but for me it was great, lol.

The background:
Yesterday a friend of mine visited me in Ffm (she lived in the rooming house with me until september last year), and we went out to eat in one of my favorite places. This bistro has terrariums with caymans and lizards, though that is not why it's a favorite place of mine, just one of its trademarks. What I didn't know is that they hold an exotic animal show every first sunday in the month :'D. There's some kind of crocodile farm, which also provided the caymans to the bistro, that does shows and stuff, and advertises a little through that place once every month.

So, while eating, my friend and I received some nice informations about exotic animals on the sideline, along with living protagonists. They brought several types of lizard, spiders (tarantula, black widow), a scorpion, cockroaches (eeeeew~), a millepede, and lots of snakes in all colors and sizes :'D. I touched a corn snake and a python, and especially fell in love with the beautiiiiful corn snake. Now I understand why some people keep them as pets, they ARE fascinating. Btw, I always liked snakes, so a little dream of mine came true when I could indeed touch them. My day would have been complete if I could have held the tarantula on my hand x'D.
Indeed they let us hold all of the animals, even the scorpion, but except of the black widow, of course x'D. And I got into close contact with one of the Madagascar hissing cockroaches while still eating, which wasn't quite as nice D: *shudders*.
The show ended after feeding the caymans <3.

All in all - great experience x'D.
I'll certainly come by again.
Or go visit a "real" exotic animal show.

So yeah, I'm feeling all "WHEEE~" now x'D.
And trying to avoid writing my essay, admittedly, lol.

I've been rather busy during the last days, plus, I lost my internet connection (which is obviously back now), so that I couldn't send my wishes any sooner x'D~. Hope you all are well?

I celebrated New Year at ~Argendriel's place, together with my sis ~pinkcreamcocoa and many other awesome people: ~Saimiri, ~MinamiTakahashi, ~Tiara-C, ~Nanael85, ~Ni-Si and Sperber (xD). Greetings to you all, I had a great time, even though the remains of my sickness annoyed me a bit >.>;.

Anyway, on to 2010! Yay!
